No, I don't know what's going on with my "lawn". Basically it's however-many hundred square feet of construction waste-ass soil that periodically sprouts eighteen different kinds of waist-high weeds. I dunno, man. I don't have time to be a landscapist, so my policy regarding the back yard is "if it's not surrounded by stone trapezoids then I don't care". Worked out fine for the raised beds.

Admittedly, I bet a large part of why they got so cruddy is that I made my own black powder. I'm guessing stuff made by people who know what the hell they're doing burns a little more cleanly.

Mine is a house of tradition.

This was a little project over the weekend – nothing fancy like the last couple. I found an AGS-101 screen I had forgotten about, so decided to throw something together.

Not sure I like the way the shell looks with the colors, though -- the clear is a little too gray. Maybe a paint job is in order, although I probably should have thought of that before I used a glass screen on this.

Anyhow, yeah.
